  Step 1: Welcome to this circular walk round Rushmere St Andrew. We start this jaunt at Chesnut Pond on Rushmere Street.

  Step 2: Chestnut Pond is a haven for wildlife. Damselflies, dragonflies and house martins visit the pond. It’s also home to frogs and toads.

• 

  Step 3: With the pond behind you turn right along Rushmere Street. Pass Rushmere Baptist Church on your right.

• 

  Step 4: Continue along Rushmere Street as it bears round to the left. Follow the narrow tarmac path.

  Step 5: What flora and fauna can you spot as you continue along Rushmere Street?

  Step 6: Pass the Rushmere St Andrew sign and a small pond on your right.
