  • Step 1: Like other walks in this section of the Thames you won’t find many buses. We parked in Lechlade Riverside car park and took a taxi to the Swan at Radcot Bridge. The car park is on the RingGo App.

  • Exit the car park and walk past the pub towards the bridge over the river.

  • The bridge is a single track controlled by traffic lights and with no pavement. For a short detour to the older bridge cross over the river.

  • Enter the gravel car park - owned by the pub. You’ll see a grassy area with picnic tables where you can get a good view of the older bridge.
