• Step 1: This walk starts at Lechlade & ends in Castle Eaton. Park near St Mary’s church in Castle Eaton for free. Order a taxi to the Red Lion pub nearby. Ask to be dropped at the Riverside pub in Lechlade which is open for breakfast.

• 

  Step 2: Exit the car park of the Riverside pub and turn right towards the bridge.

• 

  Step 3: Pass the toll house, keeping on the right side of the road.

• 

  Step 4: Cross over the bridge and take the steps down on the right.

• 

  Step 5: From the bottom of the stairs continue straight ahead. The Riverside pub will be opposite.

• 

  Step 6: Follow the path across the field with the river on your right.
