  Step 1: Your walk starts at Manningtree Station.

• Step 2: There are frequent trains running to and from London Liverpool Street, Colchester, Ipswich & Harwich International. There is also a bus stop outside the station.

• 

  Step 3: Turn right out of the station. Take a slightly downhill walk through the car park to a path. It is sign posted too.

• 

  Step 4: You’ll reach a rusty metal wall which leads onto a path. Take the path which goes off to the right.

• 

  Step 5: Follow the sign post to Flatford. It’s less than 2 miles away from where you are now.

• 

  Step 6: Continue along the path. Woods to your left and a wall to your right.
