• Step 1: This is a 4.5 mile walk from Enfield Lock Station to Chingford. There is one stile to cross and two hills to climb. The waymarks are helpful but cannot always be relied on. There is not much road walking.

• 

  Step 2: Leave Enfield Lock station. Turn right - over the level crossing if you have come from the south.

• 

  Step 3: Turn right again into Bradley Road.

• 

  Step 4: Walk to the end of the road and then turn left (before the bridge) alongside the concrete channel of Turkey Brook.

• 

  Step 5: Cross Newbury Avenue and carry on beside the brook.

• 

  Step 6: Fork right over the long bridge that takes the Loop over Mollison Avenue.
