Step 1: We started our walk at these gardens just off Bermondsey St. The nearest train station is London Bridge. The park has a kids playground.
Step 2: We took a right up Weston Street once we'd walked through the park.
Step 3: This is Greenwood Pocket Park designed by Dame Zandra Rhodes & Joe Swift. A fashion & garden design collab that brightens Bermondsey a lot.
Step 4: Carry on walking straight ahead and cross Borough High Street and head onto Union Street. The unassuming memorial garden is on the right behind a hoarding. We promise you it's not a building site.

Step 6: This is the perfect place for a lunchtime break, a spooky stroll, quiet contemplation and remembrance or just to admire the flora and fauna against the backdrop of the city.
