• 

  Step 1: Take the number 3 or 4 Bus from Broadmead or Cribbs to Lawrence Western Road stop on Longcross. In winter, wellies are a good option.

• Step 2: If you need to arrive at the start of the walk by public transport you have a few options. As well as the buses mentioned, the nearest train station is Shirehampton.

• 

  Step 3: Walk down Lawrence Weston Road and take a left just before the allotments

• Step 4: Continue as the other bears around to the right.

• 

  Step 5: Turn right on the path to walk around the outside of the allotments.

• 

  Step 6: Look out for the kissing gate on your right just as you pass the allotments and before the rugby ground.
