  Step 1: Take the number 3 or 4 Bus from Broadmead or Cribbs to Lawrence Western Road stop on Longcross.

• Step 2: The Lawrence Western Moor walk also starts near here and it is worth doing both of these together if you can.

• 

  Step 3: Walk down Lawrence Weston Road and take a left just before the allotments

• 

  Step 4: Turn right and follow the paved and firm path.

• 

  Step 5: Continue past the entrance to Lawrence Western Moor walk and up the hill to the footbridge over the M5.

• 

  Step 6: Here you can catch the first views of the windmills.
