• Step 1: You can walk or get the bus from Whitechapel or get off at Bethnal Green underground or Cambridge Heath Rd overground station and walk to Old Ford Rd to begin this walk.

  Step 2: Head straight up Old Ford Rd. You’ll pass the V&A museum of childhood on your right.

• 

  Step 3: Keep heading straight up the road until you meet Regents canal and Victoria Park ahead of you.

• 

  Step 4: When you spot this weeping willow you’ll know you’re close...

• 

  Step 5: Walk over Regents canal. We peak over the bridge to have a look. Beautiful! But not the canal we’re here to walk along...

• 

  Step 6: Enter Victoria Park and turn right to walk along the lake.
