  Step 1: Start at Forest Hill Station car park

• 

  Step 2: Walk up London Road, on the West side

• 

  Step 3: Keep walking until you reach the Horniman museum on your right, but turn a slight left and enter the Horniman Triangle park

• 

  Step 4: Enjoy the open spaces and play features of this park opposite the museum. Exit on the bottom side, after the sand pit. Turn right

• Step 5: Aug 24: please note that sometimes the other gate is closed and you’ll have to retrace your steps and rejoin the main road.

• 

  Step 6: Cross the South Circular A205 and immediately opposite is an entrance to the Horniman museum gardens. Follow any path to the opposite side
