  Step 1: Thanks for joining our circular walking route exploring some architectural gems in Forest Hill. Start at the station

  Step 2: Walk up London Road and you'll immediately see the unusual decor of The Capitol, once a major cinema

• 

  Step 3: Keeping heading up London Road and see the converted 19th century villas of Dorrell Estate on the left

• 

  Step 4: Turn up the considerable hill of Taymount Rise

• 

  Step 5: At the very top, behind the roundabout, you'll find a fine example of Art Deco apartments - Taymount Grange

• 

  Step 6: Walk down the hill again, almost to the bottom, but take the alleyway on your left just before the converted flats facing the main road.
