  Step 1: Your journey begins at Ladbroke Grove Station. Exit the station, turn left and cross the road at the traffic lights.

• 

  Step 2: Crossing under the Westway, take the first right onto Thorpe Close, entering the vibrant Portobello Market.

• Step 3: The market is open weekdays from 09:00 (reduced capacity), with the full flow on Fridays and Saturdays.

• 

  Step 4: Named after the Panama town Porto Bello, the market became home to ‘rag and bone’ men selling wares in the 1940s, and has never looked back.

• 

  Step 5: Turn left on Portobello Road, make your way north, or take an early pit stop with street food from around the world in Acklam Village.

• 

  Step 6: On market days you may well miss it, but behind the hustle and bustle - on the wall of The Grand restaurant - sits an original Banksy.
