• Step 1: This walk was created in partnership with Cherwell District Council. Enjoy over 30 walks across North Oxfordshire and experience the sights and sounds of nature as you go.

  Step 2: Welcome to Spiceball Park. This walk will show you a peaceful, traffic-free loop close to Banbury town centre.

• Step 3: The route begins at Riverside Car Park (OX16 2AY). You can easily reach here from the town centre on foot. If you’re at the central bus station, you can start the route at step 54. At the train station? Meet us at step 62.

• Step 4: Spiceball Country Park is a ‘green link’ from the centre of Banbury to Grimsbury Reservoir and the Oxford canal towpath. It has a nature trail & offers easy access along the footpath circuit. There’s also a children’s play area.

  Step 6: From the Spiceball Park sign, follow the paved shared use path to the right. Try to be aware of other park users, including cyclists.
