  Step 1: Enter via the Court Lane Gate. Walk to the main path and cross over into the centre of the park.

• 

  Step 2: At the crossroads turn left towards the American Garden first established in 1887.

• 

  Step 3: The American Garden has lovely rhododendrons in season. Having had your fill of rhododendrons bear right onto the main path.

• 

  Step 4: Head right, at the next junction head right and then left towards the boardwalk.

• 

  Step 5: Enter the Boardwalk across the lake. You may see ducks on top of the rail. No bread please - cooked rice or oats are alternatives.

• 

  Step 6: You’ll see the café as you leave the boardwalk.
