• 

  Step 1: The Lodge at the College Gate is now a nursery

• Step 2: Go past the gate, keeping the cars out. Bear right towards The Lake.

• 

  Step 3: When you see the tree with the dedication plaque at the bottom head right onto the boardwalk.

• 

  Step 4: Look at the lake on your right. Will you see a heron on the island?

• 

  Step 5: As you walk round the lake bear right to stay with the path alongside the lake or left to join the main path round the park

• Step 6: Return to the main path and head left to return to the gate.
