  Step 1: Staring at Darwin college walk along the backs towards Magdalene bridge. Which colleges do you pass, and what animals can you see?

• Step 2: Turn left to cross Magdalene Bridge at the intersection. Once over the bridge turn left to follow the river to commons.

• 

  Step 3: Mindful moment: As you walk along the river can you see or hear any boats? Perhaps you can see Darwin colours as you pass the boat house.

• 

  Step 4: Mindful moment: can you see the smiling boat? Notice the rise and fall in your smile, chest, arms, legs, and feet as you continue walking.

• Step 5: Continue along the left hand side of the river until you reach Jesus green and midsummer common. What can you hear, perhaps the water rumbling at the lock?

• 

  Step 6: You can continue on this path until reading fen Dutton or Ely. Or return home, perhaps taking a different route through Christ’s piece.
