  Step 1: Starting at the Round Church, head west along BrIdge St towards the river.

• 

  Step 2: Turn right into Portugal Place just before St Clement’s church.

• 

  Step 3: Follow Portugal Place round to the right passing behind the Maypole pub and turn left on to Lower Park St.

• 

  Step 4: Carry straight on into Jesus Green and keep going straight, crossing busy Victoria Rd.

• 

  Step 5: Turn right at the Fort St George to walk along the river, passing Midsummer House.

• 

  Step 6: The boathouses are on the other side of the river.
