• Step 1: The Orbital South A (4.1m) is part of the Colchester Orbital, a 14-15 mile walk around Colchester town, linking some of its most important & beautiful green spaces.

• 

  Step 2: Your walk starts here at the University of Essex Mini Store. Head south along Annan Road away from Capon Road.

• 

  Step 3: There will be a multi coloured mosaic giraffe 🦒 as you walk towards the zig-zag railway bridge.

• 

  Step 4: Continue along Annan Road.

• 

  Step 5: Continue over the ramped zig-zag bridge, which crosses over the railway.

• Step 6: Please note that a barrier on the other side of this bridge, which is to deter motorbikes, will restrict use by mobility scooters. For an alternative route see the next step.
