  Step 1: Start at Braunstone Civic Centre. Its a big carpark, free to use, walkers are politely asked to park at the end furthest to the library.

• Step 2: At the entrance to the carpark facing outwards turn right onto Welcombe Avenue.

• 

  Step 3: At the crossroads.. Go straight accross Henley Crescent to Welcombe Avenue.

• 

  Step 4: You have reached the entrance to Franklin Park.

• 

  Step 5: Off to the left you can follow the park around past some beautiful trees and native wild flowers.

• 

  Step 6: Cowslips 🌼
