  Step 1: Starting at Aylestone Meadows Car Park

• 

  Step 2: Follow the path beside the road, walking away from the car park entrance down towards the Canal

• 

  Step 3: When you reach the bridge, turn right and follow the Canal Towpath

• 

  Step 4: You’ll pass Aylestone Mill Lock, with seats nearby to soak up the calming atmosphere

• 

  Step 5: Continue along the Towpath

• 

  Step 6: What wildlife can you see? You might be able to spot a Heron if you look closely!
