  Step 1: Behind the train station, take the green footbridge over the river.

• Step 2: This walk goes up steep steps to the viewpoint & back down a more gentle route. We recommend clockwise as the steps are better to go up than down. It’s worth it! Children’s playarea at the top but the route isn’t buggy friendly.

• 

  Step 3: It’s signposted to Widcombe.

• 

  Step 4: Cross the road at the crossing.

• 

  Step 5: Turn right and follow pavement round to the left.

• 

  Step 6: Head up Lyncombe Hill.
