Walk preview

1. 

   Step 1: Behind the train station, take the green footbridge over the river.

2. Step 2: This walk goes up steep steps to the viewpoint & back down a more gentle route. We recommend clockwise as the steps are better to go up than down. It’s worth it! Children’s playarea at the top but the route isn’t buggy friendly.

3. 

   Step 3: It’s signposted to Widcombe.

4. 

   Step 4: Cross the road at the crossing.

5. 

   Step 5: Turn right and follow pavement round to the left.

6. 

   Step 6: Head up Lyncombe Hill.
