  Step 1: Your walk begins here at Chappel & Wakes Colne station.

• Step 2: Trains run to & from Marks Tey & Sudbury from this station. There are no direct trains from London, but you change trains at Marks Tey if this is where you’re travelling from.

• 

  Step 3: As you head away from the station you’ll get to the East Anglia Railway Museum. Check opening times if you plan on visiting.

• Step 4: Continue along Station Road.

• 

  Step 5: Head straight on & cross the road. It’s very busy so do so carefully. You’ll pass out of Wakes Colne & into Chappel.

• 

  Step 6: As you cross the bridge there will be a pillbox on your right. The first of many that will be on this walk.
