  Step 1: Your walk begins here at Marks Tey.

• Step 2: Trains from London Liverpool Street, Stratford, Colchester, Ipswich & Sudbury run to and from this station. Buses also run to and from this station at the Railway Station stop. If you do drive pay & display parking is available.

• 

  Step 3: Continue along Station Road. Follow the road round to the left.

• Step 4: Continue along the road until it turns into North Lane. There will be bungalows on both sides of the road.

• Step 5: The road will soon take a sharp left. Ignore this turn.

• 

  Step 6: To your right there will be a wooden stile between the hedges. Go over this & then continue along a wooden footbridge.
