  • On Cross Street you will find lots of lovely tea rooms & pubs, as well as gift shops selling Blue John Stone & other treasures.

  • Step 4: Castleton is the home of Blue John, a semi-precious mineral you can’t find anywhere else in the world. It’s a form of fluorite with bands of purple, blue & yellow. Often made into jewellery, each piece is completely unique!
