• 

  Step 1: Begin your walk from the road at Treak Cliff Cavern, taking he path that climbs up behind the entrance to the cave.

• 

  Step 2: Beneath your feet are a huge network of caves containing Blue John Stone, a precious mineral that cannot be found elsewhere in the world.

• 

  Step 3: You will see Mam Tor rising up in front, with the landslide that gives the hill it's nickname "The Shivering Mountain" in full view.

• Step 4: Turn left at the cave, then walk a short distance before crossing over to the other side to a gate.

• 

  Step 5: Take the smallest gate and follow the path.

• 

  Step 6: Once through a second gate beneath a National Trust Sign, you will join a stone path. There are some steps but the path soon levels out.
