• 

  Step 1: This route starts at Cameley Surgery. The bus stop outside is served by routes 172, 374, 375, 376a and 376 Mendip Explorer.

• 

  Step 2: With your back to the surgery, turn left and cross Cameley Road towards the bus stop by the little triangular green.

• 

  Step 3: By the bus stop, use the traffic island to cross the main road, the A37, when safe to do so and turn left on the opposite side.

• 

  Step 4: After a few steps, turn right going gently uphill on a Gillets Hill Lane.

• 

  Step 5: As the lane bends to the left, continue straight onto a narrow dirt footpath by a metal and concrete fence.

• 

  Step 6: This short uphill section is quite steep and can be quite overgrown. Take your time. Follow the path as it bends to the left.
