• Step 1: Please note that this is a linear walk with no bus service at the end point, so plan accordingly with time to get back to the start if you need to. There can be muddy sections after wet weather so wear appropriate footwear.

• 

  Step 2: This walk starts by the bus stop on High Street in Paulton facing downhill. Paulton is well served by buses 171, 172, 376a, 522.

• 

  Step 3: Head downhill on High Street crossing side roads with care.

• 

  Step 4: Turn left onto Bristol Road and use its right hand pavement.

• 

  Step 5: Keep right and head up the small access road and walk past the terraced housing.

• 

  Step 6: Where the houses end, continue ahead through a metal kissing gate into a meadow.
