• Step 1: This walk takes you from Brentwood station to Shenfield station via Merrymeade Country Park. Why not ditch the car or get off the train a stop early & immerse yourself in nature.

• 

  Step 2: You need to turn right onto Primrose Hill. King’s Road is very busy so there is a pedestrian crossing slightly past the turning.

• 

  Step 3: There’s lots of pockets of nature on this tranquil residential street.

• 

  Step 4: Plus gorgeous houses surrounded by pretty gardens.

• 

  Step 5: Now turn left out of Primrose Hill onto Crown Street. Follow the road slightly uphill towards the town centre.

• 

  Step 6: Take note of handmade flowers decorating the bushes along the way.
