  Step 1: The walk starts on Bathwick Hill. There is a bus stop here, the Youth Hostel stop, served by the U1. Head onto the path.

• 

  Step 2: At the path junction soon after, bear right and go through the metal kissing gate to enter Bathwick by the National Trust sign.

• 

  Step 3: Head across the grass on the diagonal path. Epic views across Bath’s skyline can be enjoyed on clear days.

• 

  Step 4: Go through the metal gate next to a larger gate for vehicles.

• 

  Step 5: Bear slight right to continue down the hill across this field.

• 

  Step 6: The path is more obvious here as you head towards the city’s streets with their iconic bath stone buildings.
