Step 1: Start your walk of Aldeburgh here at the Aldeburgh Museum. This grade I listed Tudor building has been used as a town hall for 400 years!
Step 2: If you face towards the sea, there is a small building with accessible toilet and baby changing facilities too.
Step 3: The first Adnams pubs on this walk is close by. The Mill Inn is located opposite Aldeburgh Museum.
Step 4: You now need to turn left onto the High Street.
Step 5: On the left is The Aldeburgh Bookshop. It’s been in business for over 70 years & the current owners have run it for over 20 of them.
Step 6: Fun fact - The site of the current bookshop has always had a literary connection. 42 High Street is thought to have been the site of the birthplace of one of Aldeburgh’s literary stars, George Crabbe.
