  • Step 1: We cut through the Rushey Mead estate off Chudleigh Road and down Dressington Avenue.

  • You’ll pass the Ladywell Water Tower on your left. It is the only building that remains of an elderly workhouse and infirmary from the Victorian era.

  • Step 3: After the Water tower take the first left after Rushey Mead and cut past Abbey Manor College on your right and Ladywell Children’s Centre on the left. Ladywell Fields is straight ahead.

  • We carried on straight ahead and crossed the little bridge at the end of Malyons Road. Pooh sticks ahoy!

  • The kids love this bridge and the trains, on this walk, we cross over it. At the bottom you’ll pass a running track.

  • Cross over the Ravensbourne again. We saw ducks and dragonflies and headed into the kids playground for some fun with the little ones and some trainspotting.
