  Step 1: This kid and family-friendly walk starts outside Windyghoul Primary School on Brotherstone’s Way.

• 

  Step 2: Carefully cross the road when there are no vehicles. Remember to stop, look and listen before crossing. The Co-op is on your left.

• 

  Step 3: Look out for this shared use path on your left hand side. Turn left up it. Let’s continue ahead on a mostly traffic-free route.

• Step 4: Now’s a perfect time to tune into the sights and sounds of nature. Take a deep breath for four seconds and out for four seconds. Feel the breath in your lungs, nourishing your whole body.

• 

  Step 5: Continue ahead. When you reach the playground, turn right.

• 

  Step 6: Follow the flat winding path ahead. Let’s tune into nature. What can you see or hear? Trees? Bushes? Birdsong?
