Step 1: York train station has regular services form Kings Cross, Edinburgh and the North. It’s very well connected and easy to walk to via Station Road. Please note the City Walls close at dusk. There are also lots of steps en route.
Step 2: This walk starts at Hartley’s Cafe, West Lodge, Lendal Bridge, York YO1 7DP. Facing away from this cafe, head to the river front.
