  Step 1: This walk starts off Leeman Road which is serviced by regular buses and there is also York train station nearby. Post code: YO26 4ZF.

• Step 2: We recommend wandering as you wish along the firm flat path or follow along with us. To extend this loop, you could walk around the park a couple of times. The gardens are very well kept.

• 

  Step 3: Turn right as you enter the park.

• Step 4: Continue as the path bears around to the right.

• 

  Step 5: In the far corner you can see an evergreen tree with a concrete pillar in front of it in memory of those who lost lives in the Korean War.

• 

  Step 6: Up ahead you’ll find the World War One memorial. Turn right towards the river to continue along with us.
