  Step 1: This family-friendly walk starts outside Aberlady Primary School on Kirk Road.

• 

  Step 2: Carefully cross Kirk Road. It’s really important to stop, look and listen before crossing. Only cross when safe to do so.

• 

  Step 3: Once you have crossed the road turn left and head up Kirk Road towards the woods, carefully crossing the road to the right.

• 

  Step 4: Continue ahead. Let’s take a look around. What good things in nature can you spot? You’ll soon approach another side road.

• 

  Step 5: Stop, look and listen and then cross over all the side roads safely. Continue ahead and do the same for the next side road coming up.

• 

  Step 6: Can you see the woodland in the distance? That’s where we’re headed. Cross over the last road and let’s make our way there.
