Thames Path North Bank Section 2

Walk preview

1. Step 1: Welcome to the Thames Path! This walk follows the North Bank of the iconic Thames Path National Trail from Albert Bridge to Tower Bridge.

2. Step 2: Buses 11, 19, 22, 49 and 319 stop at nearby Carlyle Square Chelsea if you’re getting public transport to the start of this walk.

3. 

   Step 3: This route starts at the Albert Bridge, along the Chelsea Embankment.

4. Step 4: Albert Bridge was built in 1873 & is a fantastic example of Victorian architecture.

5. 

   Step 5: With the beautiful bridge behind you and the river to your right, start strolling along Chelsea Embankment, a lovely tree lined stretch.

6. Step 6: On your left, you’ll pass the Chelsea Physic Garden. It’s a lovely spot, well worth a visit.
