• 

  Step 1: Start at Signal Way. At the far end of the industrial estate you will see the sign posts onto the Old Town Railway Path.

• Step 2: The railway station opened in 1881 and served Swindonians until 1961. The track is now enjoyed as a leisure route for walkers and cyclists.

• 

  Step 3: Continue under the road bridge

  Step 4: Continue under the Croft Road bridge

• 

  Step 5: During the wetter months, the path can get a bit muddy at the Old Town end. Make sure you wear appropriate footwear!

• 

  Step 6: There are five stone sculptures along the path. They represent Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Conceive.
