  Step 1: There is not a cross village bus service. Walking between the villages is necessary. Using pubs as markers. Start at the Mill House pub.

• Step 2: Walk a short way past the shops on left and turn into Stoke Paddock

• Step 3: Walk to the end of Stoke Paddock turning right into Cheyne Road

• 

  Step 4: Walk past the bolders

• 

  Step 5: Past the ancient oak onto Stoke Lodge

• Step 6: Make your way to West Dene by the old cottages
