  • Start at the West Gate entrance of the Royal Botanic Gardens. The Gardens are free to enter, the glasshouses cost approximately £7.

  • Step 3: There’s a bathroom, restaurant and shop here. Exit to the gardens when you’re ready and bear left immediately. There are lots of plants on your right.

  • In Spring, notice these small white and blueish flowers, a part of the Periwinkle family. Their flower buds untwist as they open.
