• Step 1: Lots of woods with fields and other green open spaces between. Very little road walking. The waymarking is generally good especially on the golf course and in the woods. Some parts can be very muddy after wet weather.

• 

  Step 2: Turn back from the ticket barrier at Moor Park to go through the subway. Go up the stairs then join the footpath on the right through trees.

• 

  Step 3: Follow the wide path for 0.4 miles through the trees with the railway to the right. On reaching a barrier and Loop sign, turn sharp left.

• 

  Step 4: Follow the grassy track under the cables towards the pylons. The track goes just to the left of the first pylon.

• 

  Step 5: Curve left just after passing the first pylon staying on the main grassy track.

• 

  Step 6: Stay on the path guided by waymarks. Turn left on reaching a grassy earth track.
