  Step 1: You can start at Leytonstone High Road overground station 🚉. Go under the bridge and then cross at the first zebra immediately after

• 

  Step 2: Take the first right once you’ve crossed down Ferndale Road. You should be able to see the trees at the end 💚

• 

  Step 3: In just a few minutes you’ll find yourself on Wanstead Flats, part of Epping Forest. Follow the path behind the gate 🌳

• 

  Step 4: Soon the path will fork, take the left as modelled here 💁‍♂️

• 

  Step 5: Enjoy the peace and the birdsong, and follow the track between the trees

• 

  Step 6: There’s plenty of nature to find. We were on the look out for daffodils and signs of spring
