• Step 1: This circular walk starts at Oulton Broad North Station. This beautiful walk has several steps, a staircase and uneven paths. It is isolated in some parts and best walked in dryer months or dry weather as paths can flood.

• Step 2: The station is also served by the bus route 106 Coastal Reds. Exit the station and turn left on to Bridge Road and keep left.

• 

  Step 3: Walk along the left hand side pavement. As you near the big roundabout, look out for a small discreet public footpath turning left.

• 

  Step 4: Soon after passing the library, turn left to walk down the narrow dirt path.

• 

  Step 5: Follow the path all the way down. Enjoy the dappled light from the trees. Either side is private land that leads to the waterside.

• 

  Step 6: Keep following the path, head under the railway bridge and continue straight.
