1. Step 1: Carlton Marshes (NR33 8HU) is open dawn until dusk, seven days a week. It’s free to enter but donations are welcome. The visitor centre is generally open 10am - 4pm. There is a car park onsite and the nearest train station is…

   Step 3: Follow the path to the main visitor centre area where you’ll find a car park, playground, toilets, cafe and shop. Dogs are allowed on leads.

   Step 4: Did you know that there are 1,000 acres of wilderness in the Broads National Park?

5. Step 5: It’s also home to some of the largest populations of wading birds in the East of England. Cut through the visitor centre cafe. Enjoy a refreshment stop now or we’ll be back here after a short loop.

   Step 6: With the cafe now on your left hand side, follow the veranda past the cafe and down the ramp up ahead.
