  Step 1: Start at the junction of Gowan Brae and Eastfield Road by following the route of the Bathgate to Airdrie Cycle Path alongside Hillend Loch.

• 

  Step 2: Follow the tarmac path. This walk follows the route of the N75 Bathgate to Airdrie Cycle Path and North Calder Heritage Trail.

• 

  Step 3: Follow as it bends to the right.

• 

  Step 4: Head over the footbridge and continue straight.

• 

  Step 5: Continue along the path, ignoring adjoining paths at the junctions.

• 

  Step 6: As you walk you may spot some metalwork sculptures along the route.
