  Step 1: This walk starts at Wellspring settlement on Beam Street. The nearest bus stop is 'Beam Street' on Avondale Road. There are toilets here.

  Step 2: With your back to the centre, cross the car park lane and head onto the path to the left of it, alongside the apartment block.

• 

  Step 3: Turn left just after the tower block onto the tarmac path lined with young trees. Continue onto the small access road to reach Avondale Road.

• 

  Step 4: Turn right into Avondale Road.

• 

  Step 5: After a row of housing you'll meet St Luke's Church, a Grade II listed building.

• 

  Step 6: The garden provides a peaceful space. Pop in if the gate is open.
