  Step 1: This walk starts at Wellspring settlement on Beam Street. The nearest bus stop is 'Beam Street' on Avondale Road. There are toilets here.

• 

  Step 2: With your back to the centre, cross the car park lane and head onto the path to the left of it.

• 

  Step 3: Turn right to head through the yellow gate and across the Barton Hill Urban Park on the tarmac path.

• 

  Step 4: Once you've crossed the greenspace, turn left and walk through the red gate.

• 

  Step 5: Head towards the tower block ahead, walking past the children's play area to your left.

• 

  Step 6: There are benches here before the park exit. Bear right at the fork towards the right gate.
