• Step 1: Welcome to Section 8 of the Green Chain walk. Section 8 officially starts at step 10, with steps 1-9 providing directions from Mottingham Station.

• 

  Step 2: Exit Mottingham station via platform 1 and turn left to follow the station access road up to Court Road.

• 

  Step 3: When you come to the main road - and the adorable antiques shop - turn right on to Court Road.

• 

  Step 4: Follow Court Road past the shops until you come to the busy dual carriageway of Sidcup Road. Cross here and turn right.

• 

  Step 5: Follow Sidcup Road and take the first turning on your left: West Park.

• 

  Step 6: Walk the length of West Park and you will come to a roundabout with a war memorial in the middle.
