• 

  Step 1: There are number of entrances into the gardens, but we parked on Endcliffe Vale Road and began our expedition at the Botanical Road Gate.

• 

  Step 2: Taking the path to the rose garden first, you will find a statue of Pan, Spirit of the Woods, with all his animals and birds.

• 

  Step 3: Follow the sound of water to the fountain at the southern end of the Broadwalk.

• 

  Step 4: If you are visiting during the summer this view will be framed on both sides by vibrant colours of flowers in full bloom.

• 

  Step 5: A wander through the Glass Pavillion will take you on a journey around the world, with plants from far-flung exotic places.

• 

  Step 6: Next to the Pavillion is the main entrance to the gardens. Built in 1836, it once provided a lodge for the gatekeeper.
