• 

  Step 1: This stage starts at Bromley Cross station. Leave the station by going left with the platforms behind you onto Chapeltown Road.

• Step 2: Please note that parts of this walk may be damp, muddy and slippery at any time of year and especially after periods of wet weather. Please bear this in mind when planning your trip.

• 

  Step 3: Turn left along Chapeltown Road.

• 

  Step 4: Just before the t- junction, cross Chapeltown Road and turn right along Darwen Road.

• 

  Step 5: Just before Darwen Road curves right, cross it carefully when safe to do so, towards a road turn off on the opposite side.

• Step 6: Immediately, take the first left down a private road.
