Cookham Thames Path Longer Loop

Walk preview

1. 

   Step 1: This walk starts at Cookham station, served by Great Western Railway. Connections to Maidenhead link up with the Elizabeth Line. More below.

2. 

   Step 2: As you come out the station head downhill with the car park to your right. The pavement is flat and has features drop curbs.

3. 

   Step 3: There’s a chance for a sandwich (or haircut) in the shops by the car park, before you get started.

4. 

   Step 4: Continue down Station Hill passing the old bank building on the way.

5. 

   Step 5: There are beautiful houses and streets all around the area.

6. 

   Step 6: Cross Maidenhead Road via the traffic island.
